What happens when I make a room reservation?

Shortly after you make a reservation, you will receive an e-mail with a reference number and details of your reservation request. Within 48 hours (or two business days if your reservation is made after 3:00pm EST Saturday), you will receive a second e-mail with the complete hotel itinerary including hotel or resort confirmation number, reservation details and property address. IMPORTANT: Please print out this information or make a note of the confirmation number, as you will need it when you check in to your hotel.

All rates quoted are subject to availability at the time of booking. In rare instances, the rate or availability quoted through FTTB may change due to sellouts, discount close outs or special events. If a particular property is sold out or unavailable, we reserve the right to offer alternative properties. If this happens, you will be notified immediately. Hotels are not obligated to honor rates quoted on FTTB Web site.

Why do I need to include a credit card?

All hotels and resorts booked through FTTB require a valid credit card to guarantee reservations. FTTB protects your credit card number on a secure server and encrypts the numbers. For added security, your credit card information is separated from your personal information. Please note: it is FTTB's policy not to sell any customer information.

Some resorts require one night's deposit to guarantee reservations, and / or a deposit of up to 17% of pre-tax room rate to reserve specific discounted rates. You will be notified of any deposit requirements with your confirmation. The nightly deposit charged by FTTB is a reservation service fee.  You then pay the pre-negotiated wholesale rate plus any applicable taxes directly at the hotel or resort.  If, for any reason, you are dissatisfied with the deposit requirement, you may cancel your reservation within 48 hours and receive a full refund of your deposit. See individual hotel Web sites for more information.

What is the cancellation policy?

Reservations confirmed through FTTB are subject to both the hotel's cancellation policy and FTTB's policy. If you need to cancel your reservation, you may do so without penalty from FTTB up to 48 hours after confirmation of booking. If a reservation is cancelled more than 48 hours after guest confirmation is sent, you will be subject to a $25 cancellation fee. If your reservation is confirmed and you do not show up, you are subject to the properties cancellation fees and forfeiture of any deposits made to FTTB.

A typical hotel cancellation policy requires at least 24 hours notice prior to scheduled check-in. However, cancellation policies vary. Some hotels and resorts require cancellations any time before 6:00 p.m. on day of arrival. For individual hotel cancellation policies, see individual hotel Web sites at www.2000floridatravel.com.

How do I cancel or change a reservation?

You can click here to cancel or change a reservation. Change of reservation requests are processed within two business days and confirmed via e-mail. There is no charge for the first change in a reservation. Because of the time required by our agents to ensure all the details of your travel itinerary are accurate and complete, the agency assesses a $10 modification fee for subsequent changes.
